"I imagine I'm riding up an elevator. From the dark blue brown bottom of the streets, i hear the traffic of the day. Along the yellow fabricated geometries of man shifting below. Watching the hot steam rise from rooftops, escaping. Until I'm overlooking a golden city basking in the sunset, absorbing the glow. Continuing to rise through the pink rose gold, i move beyond the tallest architecture to meet the night. The everpresent black void that holds light. Higher I'm floating over the metropolis as it scintillates and blinks it’s eyes. The edge between stars and irises blurs until i can no longer see the city’s face. Sitting just above, the earth’s magnitude is transformed; from a looming blue whale to dolphin, from river salmon to crustacean, from krill to phytoplankton. From mountain to dust, intimidating to indistinguishable. Out here all twinkles in the velvet form a static electromagnetic noise. The hum of it all, the low vibrations proceeding to climb further upward. The tone singing until it has lost it’s breath and emits only silence. Exit Kowloon."
